| Protecting Clean Water for Newburgh Residents
A critical source of water for more than 29,000 residents of the City of Newburgh and New Windsor, New York, has been permanently protected, thanks to a partnership led by OSI. A longstanding conservation target, the 83-acre property contains a critical local water source and had been under increasing development pressure due to its proximity to major commercial routes. |

| OSI Announces the Retirement of John Adams
As founding OSI Board chair, John Adams shaped OSI’s mission and work for an incredible fifty years. His leadership and commitment to the protection of land and natural resources throughout his career made him a legend in the fields of environmental protection and conservation. | OSI Saves 900 Acres of Culturally Important Land in Georgia
OSI has announced the conservation of more than 900 acres in Georgia’s Bibb and Twiggs counties. The newly conserved land supports the long-term protection of the nearby Ocmulgee Mounds, marvels of ancient Indigenous engineering. The initiative also bolsters preservation of the Ocmulgee River floodplain as the state’s first National Park and Preserve, an effort in which OSI is playing a key role. |

| Cadets Complete New Bridge at Schunnemunk State Park
Thanks to a unique collaborative effort, OSI and cadets from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point have constructed a new trail bridge at Schunnemunk State Park in Orange County, New York. For seven years running, OSI has partnered with civil engineering students at West Point to design and build bridges that enhance recreational access at New York’s state parks. |

| A Face-Lift for Adirondack History
OSI is leading a new round of rehabilitation and improvement projects at its 212-acre Adirondac Upper Works property in New York’s Adirondack Region. The latest suite of projects includes rehabilitating the exterior of MacNaughton Cottage with a design evoking the site’s historic past and enhancing accessibility and safety along the Upper Works Trail. |

| Supporting Wildlife Habitat in New Jersey
OSI was proud to work with The Land Conservancy of New Jersey to protect 37 acres of upland forest along the Paulins Kill. The project, supported in part by OSI’s Appalachian Landscapes Protection Fund, safeguards habitat for bobcats, trout, blue-spotted salamander, barred owl, and a diverse array of plant life, as well as facilitating carbon sequestration and storage. |
